Giacomo Ponti, President of the leading vinegar company of the same name in Italy and around the world, has been confirmed at the helm of Italia del Gusto, the first private consortium of companies operating in the Italian food and wine sector, which today represents 30 member companies with an aggregate turnover of 25 billion euros. This was decided by the association’s Assembly, held at the APE Parma Museum that is hosting the Mare Nostrum exhibition promoted by member company Delicius on the occasion of its 50th anniversary, which sanctioned the composition of the new consortium board.

The newly constituted Board of Directors defined the confirmation of Alberto Auricchio, CEO of Gennaro Auricchio SpA, and Gabriele Noberasco, President of Noberasco SpA, as Vice-Presidents, and the entry as Director of Matteo Zoppas, current President of the ICE Agency (Agency for the promotion abroad and the internationalisation of Italian companies) and Director of Acqua Minerale San Benedetto SpA.
